Assek Europe will represent half of Assekuransa's global business in five years

The Madrid Investment Forum – Buenos Aires took place on April 25th, an event organized by Invest in Madrid with the support of the Spanish Embassy in Argentina, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the Argentine Republic, and Globant. At the forum, Assek Europe was presented as a success story in the international expansion process of specialized companies.

In this regard, Juan Ángel González Insaurralde, Founder and General Director of Assekuransa, presented the journey of Assek Europe, its cargo transport insurer based in Madrid which, in just one year of operation, has managed to consolidate itself as a new benchmark in the Spanish market thanks to its specialization, agility, and personalized service.

“We are a brand specialized solely in insurance for international trade which, while currently going through a time of clear tension, offers very interesting prospects. This has driven us to establish a direct presence in Europe. Our aspiration is that, within five years, our company in Madrid will represent half of our global business,” announced González Insaurralde.

This company expansion plan includes direct operation in the main European markets under the Freedom to Provide Services (FPS) modality, building on the experience and specialization acquired in Latin America and now in Spain.

It is worth noting that Assekuransa provides services globally through active operations in Argentina, the United States, Spain, and Mexico, and a strategic partner in Germany. It has over 1,800 clients, issues around 90,000 policies per year, and insures goods worth over €4.5 billion.
