Assek Europe and the Madrid College of Insurance Brokers will boost the brokerage of transported goods insurance in the region
The Madrid College of Insurance Brokers (Colegio de Mediadores de Seguros de Madrid) and Assek Europe launch their alliance to foster logistics and transport insurance in the region's brokerage sector. Elena Jiménez de Andrade, President of the College, and Carmen Castellano, CEO of Assek Europe, represented the two institutions in formalizing the 2025 collaboration agreement. Ángel Corada, Manager of the collegiate institution, and José Luis Sánchez, Insurance Actuary at Assek Europe, attended the signing.
Carmen Castellano noted: "This agreement represents a key step to strengthen brokerage in cargo transport insurance, a sector that demands high specialization, great speed, and deep knowledge of the risk. At Assek Europe, we are committed to supporting Madrid's brokers with agile and personalized solutions that allow them to offer their clients the best possible coverage in all their operations."
Elena Jiménez de Andrade expressed her satisfaction at beginning a collaboration with a specialist and leader in cargo transport insurance in Spain. "We continue to grow in alliances with top-tier players in the insurance market. Having the expertise of Assek Europe in a field as specialized, complex, and delicate as transported goods is a guarantee of success that collegiate brokers in Madrid now have to mitigate their clients' uncertainty and increase their portfolio this year," affirmed the President of the Madrid College of Insurance Brokers. Jiménez de Andrade added that "the alliance with Assek Europe will also bring important benefits for the Study Center due to the company's firm commitment to innovation and excellence."
